The initial campaign involved Strive Creative shooting on-site at several different Spartan Stores across Michigan. This approach aimed to capture the local essence of the commercials and emphasize the community aspect of Spartan Stores. Subsequently, a second TV ad campaign was devised that focused specifically on Spartan’s message as a local, community grocery store. This involved capturing b-roll footage of Spartan employees engaging with guests and showcasing people spending time in the same communities that Spartan Stores call home.
Through our collaboration with Spartan Stores, we learned the importance of effectively capturing the local and community-oriented elements of a brand. By showcasing Spartan’s employees and highlighting the communities they serve, we were able to create TV ads that resonated with viewers and communicated the message of Spartan Stores as a trusted local grocery store.
